Dear Friends,

Welcome to the Favored End. I’ve created this site as a place to share ideas about many different aspects of being out on the water. Whether you are aspiring to win a sailing World Championship, just getting into the sport of sailing or simply want to get more enjoyment of your time in the wa there is something here for you.

My goal is to help you get more from your time on the water. Like many, I have spent years learning and relearning different lessons. Hopefully by reading some of what is contained here on my site you can some what short circuit the learning curve and improve your skills.

In person one one one learning is by far the most effective way to get better. There is simply no substitute for having another set of eyes helping you and your team to get better.

In the past couple of years, I have expanded my training to offer services for powerboats. Whether you need some refreshers training for a new boat or are required to get training for insurance purposes I can help you.
